Sikar: Successful organization of farmers’ conference, progressive farmers honored

Sikar, Rajasthan – Joint Director of Agriculture, Sikar, Priya Jhajharia, stated that a district-level farmers’ conference was held at the Zila Parishad auditorium, Sikar, on Tuesday to mark the completion of two years of the state government’s tenure.

During the event, farmers were shown a live broadcast of the state-level farmers’ conference held in Merta (Nagaur), which was chaired by Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Joint Director of Agriculture, Sikar, Priya Jhajharia, stated that during the conference, farmers were provided information on advanced agricultural techniques, modern farming practices, and various farmer welfare schemes of the state government.

In the programme, 10 progressive farmers doing commendable work in the agriculture sector – Rajendra Prasad Dhaka (Bathoth), Rajkumar Sharma (Sihot Badi), Banwarilal (Palthana), Banwarilal Saini (Chiplata), Chittaramal (Goriya), Narendra Singh (Bagdida, Fatehpur), Sanjay Kumar (Durgapura) along with farmers of Piprali area were honoured by presenting them with certificates.

Former MLA Sikar Ratan Jaldhari, Babusingh Bajwa, Ishwarsingh Rathore, Additional District Collector Sikar Ratan Kumar, Chief Executive Officer Zila Parishad Sikar Rajpal Yadav, Joint Director Agriculture (Extension) Zila Parishad Sikar, Assistant Director Agriculture (Extension) Sikar along with departmental officers and employees were present in the district level farmers’ conference.
