Pali News: New voters are being registered through ELC

Pali, Rajasthan – Under the special intensive revision program being run by the Election Department, 100% registration of youth aged 18 years, women voters, along with specially abled persons, PVTGs and other eligible persons is being done in the voter list in the phase of claims and objections.

District Election Officer LN Mantri informed that under the campaign, new voter registrations are being done through ELC in schools and colleges through cluster camps. District SWEEP Coordinator Gajendra Singh Narlai informed the girls in the cluster camp about the SWEEP activities being carried out by ELC and with the help of BLO Chetan Singh Ranawat, provided Form 6 to them and encouraged them to get their names added to the electoral roll.

Door to door survey will be conducted – District Election Officer informed that on 29th December, Voter Cluster Camp for Divyangjan will be organised by Social Justice and Empowerment Department, on 6th January, through door to door survey, registration of transgender and remaining persons of PVGT, Denotified Tribe, Nomadic and Semi Nomadic community will be done at the places identified by ERO and on 10th January, registration of women and newly married women will be done at all polling stations.

On this occasion, Vice Principal Nirmala Puri, Rajshree Sharma, Mamta Vyas, Madhavi Charan and staff members were present.
