Batoda – The annual function was held with great enthusiasm on Wednesday at Eklavya Residential School, located on Tigriya Road in Barnala Tehsil headquarters. Additional District Collector Sudarshan Singh Tomar was the chief guest, and Naib Tehsildar Bhagwan Sahay Meena was the special guest.
During the function, students captivated the audience with captivating cultural performances based on patriotic songs. Chief Guest ADM Sudarshan Singh Tomar praised the students’ performances and emphasized the importance of discipline and regular study for a bright future.
A special feature of the program was that ADM Tomar called the students to the stage to assess their academic performance and also conducted an open and practical evaluation of the subject-wise teachers. This direct, public, and meaningful review of education was witnessed for the first time on a platform like the annual function, which became a topic of discussion among the gathering.
This initiative not only sent a strong message about the quality of education but also generated positive motivation among students and teachers. Principal P.L. Meena inspired the students to become good and honest people in life.
